Comment by attorney Rehart on the German Federal Court of Justice Decision of 22.01.2015 - I ZR 59/14, GRUR-PRAX 2015, 294

Two aspects of competition law disputes have often been fought about in the past. What costs arise by sending a completing letter to the defendant urging to recognize a preliminary injunction as a final rule? And how long must a plaintiff wait after achieving the injunction before he can send a completing letter, if he wants to make sure that he will be covered with the costs resulting out of it? The German Federal Court of Justice (BGH) has now cleared most of the questions with a judgment of 01/22/2015. Attorney Rehart has evaluated the verdict in his comment in GRUR-PRAX 2015, 294.
